DOVER - The old Carinthia Base Lodge has been demolished, marking the end of an era for Mount Snow. By Tuesday afternoon, the last remnants of the building — the deck and the railings — were in the process of being removed. 
“It’s really surprising when you drive in to not see the lodge that you’ve seen your entire life there,” says Mount Snow communications manager Jamie Storrs. “It’s a bittersweet thing. So many people have brought their kids there, or have grown up spending time with their families there.”
