Explore area artists’ studios

NEWFANE- Rock River Artists’ 26th annual open studio tour is slated for Saturday, July 21, from 10 am to  6 pm, and Sunday, July 22, from 10 am to 5 pm. A tour that has earned its following well beyond southern Vermont, the two-day offering features 12 accomplished artists in a range of media from functional ceramics to thread on fabric.
Visitors can start their open studio tour at the old schoolhouse on Dover Road in South Newfane village, where participating artists will present a group show, They can to pick up a map of artist locations and begin a self-guided tour of the studios that are all within short driving distance.
