DEERFIELD VALLEY- Christmas Eve candlelight services at the Community Church of Whitingham and the First Baptist Church of Readsboro will take place during the Sunday services in Readsboro at 9 am, and in Whitingham at 10:30 am.

There will be readings of the birth of Christ, and singing of Christmas carols; soloists and choirs performing; a brief message by Pastor John titled “Keep Wondering.” At Whitingham Church there will be a reading of “A Night Before Christmas” for the children, read by Kate Brigham Stifter. Each service will close with lighting of the candles, and singing “Silent Night.” For information call Pastor John Brigham at (802) 368-2980.

The Jacksonville Community Church, 110 River Street, will be holding a candlelight service on Christmas Eve at 6, and regular Sunday service at 9:15 am. Wilmington Baptist Church’s Christmas service will be on Sunday at 11 am. It is located at 8 North Main Street. All are welcome.
