To the Editor,

I am reviled at the hypocrisy of former President George W. Bush in his public criticism of President Donald Trump as a “bigot.”

This product of the corrupt US federal political scheme signed the Patriot Act; approved the Protect Americans Act 2007, which violates the rights of Americans; plunged the US into a folly in Iraq under the guise of “democratizing” that cost $1 trillion, without even trying to place value on lives lost and ruined families both American and Iraqi; encouraged the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which codified suppression of legitimate citizen rebuttal; established the Homeland Security Agency which is a collection of government goons and a radical increase in the size of the US federal government; further enlarged the government with Medicare D; and bludgeoned citizens with support of the para-militarization of police.

George W. Bush was a traitor to liberty and Americans. He has no place criticizing President Trump, who, despite his faults, is the pest option to deal with a federal government that has grown into a monster.

Thank you.
