READSBORO- The Fellowship of First Baptist Church of Readsboro is busy preparing for the 55th annual Harvest Festival, to be held on Saturday, September 30, from 10 am to 3 pm.

Folks can peruse attic treasures, buy sweet treats and savory foods, select a houseplant or mum, pick up fresh produce including potatoes. Don’t forget pumpkins! Then enjoy a delicious luncheon with a choice of chicken, biscuit, and gravy, sausage or meatball grinders, or homemade soup and sandwich. Top off the lunch with gingerbread or pumpkin cake. A Chinese auction for children and adults and tickets for a beautiful queen-sized quilt made by Anna Humbert will be available.
