To the Editor,

On behalf of the staff and board of directors of The Gathering Place, thank you to everyone involved in the Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Jazz Concert series at Historic Memorial Hall for your continued, support of this organization: the series host institution, Twice Blessed, a nonprofit community organization dedicated to helping residents of the Deerfield Valley; and the very talented musicians including saxophonist James ‘Ace’ Leonard, bassist Ron White, drummer Denny Ray Pelletier, and pianist and series musical director Chris Bakriges.

Also, it was an honor to have special guest vocalist Eithne Eldred join the band during this event. The generous donations of desserts from Becky Arbella, Toni Chaput-Powling, Betsey Reagan of Dot’s of Dover, and Sticky Fingers Bakery made the evening even more enjoyable.

The Gathering Place provides a safe, supportive environment, a full array of services and stimulating activities designed to specifically meet the needs of the elders, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers in Windham County.
