To the Editor,

It is with extreme gratitude that the volunteers of the Food 4 Kids program thank Janet Boyd and Twice Blessed for the donation we recently received from the Farm-to-Table community dinner. What a wonderful evening it was!

As co-chair of the Loose Knit Group of the West Dover Congregational Church, who sponsor the Food 4 Kids program, I know that this contribution will help tremendously as we begin our second year of helping local needy children. These children (yes we have hungry children in this beautiful valley), identified by the principals at the Twin Valley Elementary and Dover schools, are given a bag of non-perishable food each Friday to take home. Purchased and packed by community volunteers, 35 children from Twin Valley and 12 from Dover have participated.

If you would like more information on this program, email me at hydeaway@sover.net

On behalf of the children, thank you.

Barbara Hyde
