READSBORO- Confluence has for its third show of the season an invitational exhibit that will feature the finest studio glass artists in the region. It runs August 5 through September 10.

“Beyond Readsboro ~ Contemporary Studio Glass” is curated by Bill LeQuier and Mary Angus.

The public is invited to a wine and cheese opening reception on Friday, August 4, from 5 to 7 pm.

“Beyond Readsboro” features nine glass artists from southeast Vermont and northwestern Massachussetts: Lucy Bergamini, Ed Branson, Robert Burch, Genevieve Cole, Robert Dane, Robert DuGrenier, Josh Simpson, Randi Solin, and Jen Violette. Among them, these glass blowers and sculptors have won 38 awards, been exhibited in fine art and craft venues, and are part of the permanent collections in art museums throughout the country.

Confluence is located at 7012 Main Street. The gallery is open Saturdays, 10 am to 4 pm, Sundays 12 to 4 pm, and by appointment. For more information call (802) 423-5600.
