Hosted by Hilary Price, creator of the award-winning comic strip “Rhymes With Orange,” and modeled after the Quick Draw panel at the annual San Diego Comic-Con, the Brattleboro version will showcase the artistic talent and quick wits of three professional cartoonists. Mike Lynch (Playboy, Wall Street Journal), Maria Scrivan (MAD, National Lampoon), and one very special mystery guest will respond to zany challenges from host Price and audience members by creating original cartoons projected on large screens, in real time, for all to see.
The Brattleboro Quick Draw is presented by BMAC in connection with the exhibit “Seriously Funny: Ed Koren,” featuring original drawings and prints by the acclaimed New Yorker cartoonist, on view through June 18.
Located in historic Union Station in downtown at the intersection of Main Street and Routes 119 and 142, the museum is wheelchair accessible.
