NEWFANE- The Moore Free Library presents ASCAP Award-winning singer, songwriter, recording artist, and ethnic folklorist Laura Wetzler on Friday, April 21, at 2 pm.

Wetzler’s “Two Doves: Songs of Resistance, Hope and Love” concert features upbeat powerful songs of uncommon beauty, new and traditional, that give us the courage to speak out and survive the troubled times today. Celebrate music from homegrown US social justice and environmental movements, as well as communities in Uganda, Yemen, Ethiopia, Spain, Turkey, Germany, Eastern Europe, and more.

Wetzler tours internationally, giving over 100 concerts and lectures each year, singing original story songs, rollicking celebrations of The Great American Songbook, as well as worldbeat music from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The Moore Free Library is located at 23 West Street. For more information call (802) 365-7948 or visit
