DOVER- Bud Light Reggaefest returns to Mount Snow on Friday, March 24, through Sunday, March 26, with fantastic live reggae music, featuring great performances at the Snow Barn as well as a party out in the base area on Saturday and Sunday. Check out the annual Sink or Skim Pond Skimming competition on Saturday and don’t miss the Duct Tape Derby on Sunday, March 26.

On Saturday, at 12 pm, the event will open with The Elovaters; at 1:15 pm, the Alchemystics will perform; then at 3 pm, headliner Fishbone. On Sunday, March 26, the Sensamotion will be opening the event at 12 pm; at 1:15 pm, the Roots of Creation will perform followed at 3 pm by headliner Anthony B. This event will be held at the main base area. Tickets for Friday’s event are $20, and Saturday’s event tickets will be $20.

The annual pond skimming competition is held on Saturday, March 25. Registration begins at 9:30 am and runs through 11 am, with the event starting at 11:30 am, at the Main Base Lodge. The competition is limited to the first 100 competitors. A costume and creative name are required. Think you can make it across the 100-foot-long icy cold pond? Well don your best costume and give it a shot. Those who make it across dry will be judged by the esteemed panel based on costume, form, and style to determine this year’s Sink or Skim Champion and the winner of a 2017/18 Season Pass.

The Bud Light Duct Tape Derby will take place on Sunday, March 26, on the tubing hill. Sleds should be in place at the top of the tubing hill and ready for judging by 11 am. The derby will begin at 12:30 pm. The Duct Tape Derby has grown into one of the most fun and unique competitions you’ll ever witness (or be involved in). Build a craft of only cardboard, duct tape, zip ties, and paint.

To register fill out the registration form:, by 8 pm on Friday, March 24, with the sled name, theme, and the names of the individuals on the team. Awards will be given out for the Best Slider, the Most Creative, the Best Kids Only Sled, and Judges Choice.
