DOVER- Eco-tique owner Liz Fryer is happy to announce the opening of a new art gallery in her store. The annex, with new LED lighting and enhanced space, highlights the works of three local artists.

In celebration of the store’s annex opening and first anniversary Fryer is hosting a Meet-the-Artist series. All are welcome in meeting Darlene Rutnik, “Pigtails,” of Wardsboro, on Saturday, January 28, from 3 to 6 pm.

Rutnik, a self-taught folk artist, was named artist of the month and showed at the Wardsboro Library in November. Her charming style is framed with handmade barnboard, and other unique styles. A wine and cheese tasting will also be held at the event. Parking is in the rear of the building.
