To the Editor,

Mrs. Swanson’s and Mrs. Millett’s second grade classes would like to thank the Pettee Memorial Library and the Whitingham Free Public Library for their generosity in sponsoring our field trip to the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art. In addition to sponsoring the field trip, director of the Whitingham Free Public Library, Kristine Sweeter; the Whitingham children’s librarian, Tianna Fronsman; and Helena Queenie, the children’s librarian at the Pettee Memorial Library, joined us at the museum for the day. Each child will receive an Bernard Waber book from the libraries. It was a wonderful experience for our students, and it was a great opportunity for them to get to know our towns’ librarians. Thank you also to our parent chaperones, Aysha Peltz and Sage Myska.

Amy Swanson and Carol Millett
