Looking Good, Shameless DeVille, Loo D’Flyest Priestly, and Izzy MJ Forrestor will take to the stage to perform during the Gallery Walk artist reception. Viewing of the art will continue during the show, and refreshments will be served.
Green Mountain Crossroads will sponsor the exhibit, show, and artists reception.
A free showing of “If These Walls Could Talk 2” will follow at 8 pm, in the Hooker-Dunham Theater.
In this exhibit, LaVorgna, of Core Photo, explores Dapper/Boi style with a series of striking portraits of masculine expression.
The subjects of LaVorgna’s photos are featured in the “Boi Next Door” calendar, a 2014 calendar project she created to build awareness, visibility, and acceptance. “I want to give people a new lens to see through. I want people to be able to see beyond gender to the amazing person in front of them.”
The Boi Next Door calendar will be on sale at the reception, taking orders for delivery in later December.
The film “If These Walls Could Talk 2” examines the changing tides of the lives of lesbians in America, both politically and personally, through three stories taking place in the same house through five decades.
Green Mountain Crossroads is a community-building organization for rural LGBTQ individuals, and provides events, a community calendar, and resources. Learn more at www.greenmountaincrossroads.org.
