It’s been six years since a Twin Valley High School sports team has come home with a state championship. What this year’s boys’ varsity soccer team accomplished was a rare feat: Win a state championship after completing an undefeated season while allowing only one goal all season. At Saturday’s game there were more than a few banners proclaiming the school “Win Valley.” It certainly seemed appropriate for this team and this season. This team will go down as one of the best head coach Buddy Hayford has helmed in his three decades on the sidelines.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, parents, and fans. It was a well-earned and well-deserved win on Saturday.
