To the Editor,

The second annual Deerfield Valley Quilt Show will be held on Saturday, October 19, from 10 am to 5 pm, and on Sunday, October 20, from noon to 4 pm, at Memorial Hall in downtown Wilmington. Proceeds will go to local charities.

We plan to have all kinds of quilts, antique and contemporary, on display. There will be demos of quilt making and crafts, door prizes, a quilt raffle, and more. The purpose of our show is to enjoy sharing the many talents of quilt makers through many generations. We would like this show to share the beauty, various designs, patterns. and history of these remarkable quilts.

This event will be a community event drawing attention to downtown Wilmington and surrounding towns. We have so much to be proud of for a rural region and invite everyone to attend. If you would like to display a quilt, we would be happy to make it part of our show. Please contact us at the address below.

For further information call the Norton House, (802) 464-7213 or email sue@NortonHousequilting.com. We hope you can join us.

Sue Wurzberger, for the Quilt Show Committee
