WILMINGTON- Start the summer off right, learn something new. Take the Monoprint Workshop at Gallery Wright Studio on June 8, from 9 am to 12 pm. Monotype is a responsive fun medium both to work out ideas and to generate a body of work. It’s exceptionally malleable and immediate and can accommodate the aesthetic of anyone at any skill level. In this threehour introductory monoprinting workshop participants will explore and work with brushes, stencils, and various drawing implements. Participants will print on the intaglio press as well as by hand using both Western and Asian papers.

This workshop is led by Mary Wright. As a Vermont juried teaching artist, Wright has taught nationwide in clay, painting, metalsmithing, and printmaking. No experience required. Supplies will be provided. Space is limited, $65, register at (802) 464-9922

Gallery Wright Studio at 103 West Main Street. For information visit gallerywrightstudio.org.
