WILMINGTON- The Deerfield Valley Rotary Club will host its third annual wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, auction, and raffle at the Hermitage on Saturday, April 6, from 4 to 6 pm. Wines to be auctioned will range from affordable and interesting to the unique and hard to find. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the door.

In addition to fabulous wines, this year the Deerfield Valley Rotary Club will auction off a very special round of golf with baseball legend Jim Lonborg. The lucky winner (group of three) will be treated to a round of golf at the Haystack Golf Club this summer with Red Sox pitcher “Gentleman Jim Lonborg,” who is a Cy Young recipient and Hall of Famer. Mr. Lonborg will also autograph a baseball for each player in the group.

This event benefits the Deerfield Valley Rotary Fund, which gives money locally and internationally to people and programs making an effort to better themselves and their community.

The Deerfield Valley Rotary meets every Wednesday at the Matterhorn Inn at 8 am. Those interested in becoming a member can contact a Deerfield Valley Rotarian or Alan Greenspan at (802) 464-8896.
