PUTNEY– Next Stage Arts Project presents Chris Smither on Saturday, November 3, at 8 pm, at Next Stage.

Smither is one of the most talented and creative guitarists and singer/songwriters in the American folk music scene today. From his early days as the New Orleans transplant in the Boston folk scene, through his wilderness years, to his re-emergence in the 1990s as one of America’s most distinctive acoustic performers, Smither continues to hone his distinctive sound. Smither continues to draw deeply from the blues, American folk music, modern poets, and philosophers with the 14th record of his lengthy career, “Hundred Dollar Valentine,” (Signature Sounds) released last summer.

Tickets are $20 general admission/$18 for students or seniors, visit www.nextstagearts.org and at Offerings in Putney.

For more information contact Next Stage Arts at (802) 387-0102 or nextstagearts@gmail.com.
