To the Editor:

As many members of the Deerfield Valley community know, here at SVMC Deerfield Valley Campus, we are coping with the loss of our friend and co-worker Donna Ciufo. She was the mainstay of our laboratory, and was loved by us, our patients, and the whole community because she always went the extra mile. Our thoughts and prayers are with Donna’s family during this time. She will be truly missed in our community.

Despite this tragic loss, we want to reassure the community that the lab at the Deerfield Valley Campus will remain open. Although we know that no one can take Donna’s place, Jessica Aldrich, who assisted Donna in the past, will provide lab services here. The lab hours will remain the same, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 2 pm. Please feel free to call the office, (802) 464-5311, if you have any further questions or concerns.
