To The Editor:

We wish to thank the enthusiastic audience in attendance for the concert performed under the tent at Dover Forge Restaurant on Saturday, July 19. This was the 19th annual “High Notes” concert performed by the Village Light Opera Group, Ltd of New York City. This year’s concert featured songs from over 30 Tony award winning Broadway shows which left the crowd humming as they exited.

The main contributors to this concert are VLOG members who volunteer their time and talents, as well as pay their own expenses to travel to our area to perform. But VLOG is not the only contributor. These singers need to be housed and for that we thank the Deerfield Valley Inn and Matterhorn Lodge. A place to perform is also needed and this year’s new venue, the tent at Dover Forge Restaurant, proved to be excellent. We are very grateful to Lori and Rich Kaplan, owners of the Dover Forge and their helpful staff.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year. We remain most appreciatively yours,

Royal and Ned Wilson

Concert organizers
