Free concert series kicks off

STRATTON– Warm nights and live music go hand in hand at Stratton’s free summer concert series. Bands will perform every Saturday from July 5 through Labor Day. Performances run from 6 to 9 pm unless otherwise noted.

Early arrivals will enjoy free music in the Village, dinner specials, shopping, and family-friendly activities like face painting and caricaturist (select weekends). Village activities are in full swing from 3:30 to 6:30 pm.

On July 5, singer-songwriter Jeff Tuohy kicks off the series at Stratton’s Mountain Friends and Freedom Fourth of July celebration. Concert begins at 4:30 pm on the Main Base Lawn.

On July 12, Brother Joscephus takes the stage, blending soul, roots, and rock with New Orleans rhythms. The show begins at 6 pm on the Main Base Lawn.

On July 19, the Jam Stampede performs classic Grateful Dead tunes starting at 6 pm on the Main Base Lawn. The music doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Local reggaefunk favorite Twiddle keeps the concert going in Grizzly’s at 9:30 pm.

On July 26, the Dave Keller Band joins the Free Summer Concert Series with his signature blend of blues and soul at 6 pm on the Main Base Lawn.

On August 2, the Peacheaters will play a one-of-a-kind show focusing on the music of the Allman Brothers at 6 pm on the Main Base Lawn.

On August 9, jam along with the Lawn Boys, a Phish tribute band, at 6 pm on the Common Lawn.

On August 16, Cash is King returns to Stratton with classic melodies from the legendary Johnny Cash at 6 pm on the Main Base Lawn.

On August 23, Twiddle brings funk back to the mountain, capping off the Summer Concert series by bringing the party at 6 pm on the Main Base Lawn.
