SEARSBURG- Francis S. Hager, 79, a lifelong resident of Searsburg, died at his home on Friday, April 25, following a brief illness. He was born in Readsboro on April 9, 1935, the son of the late Forrest and Bessie Hager. He received his education in Wilmington schools. Mr. Hager loved taking care of his home and property. He is survived by second cousins, Richard Day, of St. Albans, and James Day, of Searsburg, as well as other cousins in New York and Texas. Graveside committal services were held on Wednesday, April 30, at the Crosier Cemetery.
