DOVER- Mountainside Gallery & Gifts will join in the festivities celebrating the upcoming Independent Television and Film Festival, on September 26, 27, and 28 by hosting an Artists Expo featuring local talent.

Presented under an expansive tent erected for this event on the gallery’s front lawn, the expo will be an eclectic mix of local artists and crafters creating and exhibiting their art.

The current schedule of exhibits is as follows:

Thursday, September 26:oil painting on canvas with Ken Ahlering, coppersmith art with Ray Rose, working potter’s wheel with Willie Finkel and chair caning with Mickey Malinkowski.

Friday, September 27: oil painting on canvas with Ken Ahlering, coppersmith art with Ray Rose, jewelry crafting with Jennifer Johnson, potter’s wheel with Willie Finkel, and face painting with Claire Alessi.

Saturday, September 28: oil painting on canvas with Ken Ahlering, coppersmith art with Ray Rose, pressed-flower card art by Ellie Roden, jewelry crafting by Jennifer Johnson, potter’s wheel with Willie Finkel, block-print cards by Jenna Konesko, and hand-painted pottery with Roseanne Henning.

Many other artists’ works will be on display under the tent and in the gallery, including hand-crafted Vermont quilts, colorful scarves, handmade ladies’ leather and fabric shoulder bags, restored antique chests, unique vintage ski-frames, and much more.

Featured in the gallery collection is the original “Snow Trails” painting by local artist Henry Branford, which features a brilliant rendition of the ski trails of Mount Snow, also available as a highly collectible giclee print.

Many enthusiastic visitors from near and far are expected to attend the eighth annual ITVFest.

Mountainside Gallery & Gifts is located at 148D Route 100 in the Valley Center Plaza.
