To the Editor,

I want to applaud Kip Adams for his expression of disappointment and disgust for the Wilmington Police Department. Many of us have harbored these exact sentiments over the years. What is the solution? How can we lessen the unnecessary and damaging harassment and channel it toward a more constructive and justifiable behavior? When can we stop feeling like victims and more like citizens? I encourage anyone with sincere thoughts on this matter to speak out. Perhaps an intelligent and fair remedy can be achieved.
