To the Editor,

If you were fortunate enough to visit the Vietnam Moving Wall Memorial in Wilmington in June and are wondering how to help this great organization, there is a way. The Veterans Family Outreach Center located in Bennington, which not only puts on these wonderful events but aid veterans and their families obtain their promised benefits, does all this with volunteers and fundraising. They assist veterans and their families all over the state of Vermont. There is a fundraiser at Memorial Hall in Wilmington on Saturday, August 24, from 7 to 9 pm, featuring ‘50s and ‘60s rock with a little bit of country music for good measure. Refreshments and a cash wine and beer bar will be available. So come on down to “Vets Rock,” $15 singles, $25 couples at the door, and show your support for these men and women who have fought for your freedoms. Hope to see you there.
