BRATTLEBORO- The NEYTAA is committed to bringing former NEYT students back to the Brattleboro area to share their artistic development with the community, and has produced more than a dozen original plays and theatrical presentations. This year, the alumni are creating original work in a whole new way.

A team of actors, writers, and directors will be given just 24 hours to write, cast, design, and rehearse four short original plays, culminating in an off-book performance for a live audience.

The 24-hour play festivals have taken the country by storm in the last decade, and the NEYTAA looks forward to sharing this daring and rewarding experience.

Due to the nature of the format, there will only be one chance to see these original creations before they’re gone: Saturday, August 17, at 7 pm, at the New England Youth Theatre. Tickets are $10, with a special student price of $5. For more information visit www.neyt.org.
