To the Editor,

I’d like to publicly thank all of the parents who helped with the Dover School Field Day this Monday. Field day is time to celebrate being physically active, challenge yourself and try new things, and push yourself to do your best. It’s a time to have fun, be silly, smile and laugh with friends. It’s a wonderful way to end the school year. This year we were very fortunate to have families play and participate with us. We had over 20 parents volunteer in the morning games and activities. I would like to offer a special thanks to Shirah and Nick Crafts for loaning two bouncy houses; they were truly a highlight for the children.

Thank you to all for your energy, positive spirit, and generosity. As they say, “the more the merrier;” we could not have had such a wonderful day without your help.

Sincere thanks,

Wendy Johnson (PE/Health Teacher - Dover School)
