Celebrated master gardener and author Joe Eck will read passages from “Our Life in Gardens” (2009) and “To Eat,” his most recent book, which comes out in June. He will then lead a springtime stroll through his beautiful gardens.
North Hill’s 1.5-acre daffodil meadow is home to more than 25,000 bulbs in dozens of varieties. It will take your breath away.
Eck, together with the late Wayne Winterrowd, established their garden design firm, North Hill, in Readsboro in 1977. They were co-authors of several books including “A Year at North Hill: Four Seasons in a Vermont Garden” and “Living Seasonally: The Kitchen Garden and the Table at North Hill.”
