Rotary putt and pour tournament returns to Mount Snow

The Mount Snow Golf Club will host the Deerfield Valley Rotary Putt and Pour Tournament.

DOVER-  On Friday, June 8, the Deerfield Valley Rotary will present the second annual Putt and Pour Tournament at the Mount Snow Golf Club.  This event is an 18 hole scramble, consisting of four people per team.
At 1 pm, teams of four will begin at various holes for the putting competition.  The object is to make the ball into the hole, using the fewest strokes.  The teams with the least amount of cumulative stokes win. Participants do not have to be a golfer to play. Everyone can putt!
This event  also includes a silent auction of fine wines, locally brewed spirits, Vermont craft beers, and local gifts. A 50/50 benefit raffle will also be offered, along with a buffet dinner and cash bar provided by Mount Snow. Prizes and auction winners will be announced during dinner.
Southern Vermont Technical Rescue team will be on hand before the event to demonstrate rescue equipment that was recently purchased with the help of Rotary funding.
Rich Watkin and his tracking dog Ramsey will also be on hand for a demonstration. Ramsey was purchased with the help of Rotary funds as well.
The tournament fees are $75 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, and dinner. For those who just want dinner the fee is $25 with all proceeds to benefit the Deerfield Valley Rotary.   To register call Don Jones Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm  at (802) 423-7535.
