The fish were jumpin'

On Saturday, May 19, 27 children from toddlers to teenagers participated in the annual Lions Fishing Derby.  Close to 50 fish were caught from the North River in Jacksonville.  Lion Jeanette Felton says every participant was able to go home with a nice prize.  Lion Ed Metcalfe reported that this was the most successful fishing derby the Lions have held in 10 years, and everyone had fun.
