The 8th annual Tour de Grace from Stratton Mountain to Grace Cottage was a fabulous event that raised over $3,000, after expenses, for patient care at Grace Cottage Hospital. Eighty-five bicyclists of all ages participated in the 17.7-mile ride on Saturday, July 13, and a great time was had by all. Special thanks go to the many volunteers who helped to keep everything organized and fun, especially Libby Annis and Arik Clark, who helped lug bikes up the 84 steps at the Townshend Dam.

Sponsors who make Tour de Grace possible include Solstice at Stratton (event sponsor), as well as D&K’s Jamaica Grocery, Equipe Sport, Howard Printing, Stratton Village Square Shops, Stratton Mountain Resort, and Three Mountain Inn. Cota & Cota provided bottled water, and the watermelon and cinnamon twists supplied by Three Mountain Inn were a favorite. Elyse Petrella, of Rochester, NY, was delighted to win the drawing for the silver key fob donated by Von Bargen’s Jewelry of Stratton.
