MONTAGUE, MA- Step back into the Middle Ages, to the time of daring knights on horseback, fair maidens, mischievous sprites, and jolly jesters. Meet Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men, but don’t let the Sheriff of Nottingham see you, on Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25, from 10 am to 6 pm, at the Mutton and Mead Medieval Festival, 210 Turners Falls Road.

There will be a full contact joust this year with the added spectacle of Roman chariots, stages and streets filled with the finest entertainment, demonstrations, activities, more than 80 vendors, and more.

Take the kids on a walk through the enchanted forest, where at different times of the day they might meet giant trolls, faeries, and pixies, and mayhap even Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men.

Ticket prices start at $10 per person. Buy tickets online at www.muttonandmead.org/tickets or at the door. For more information or for directions visit www.muttonandmead.org or www.facebook.com/MuttonAndMead.
