DELHI, NY- Mark A. Teitelbaum, 65, died Monday, June 24, at his home. He was born on September 21, 1947 in Bridgeport, CT, the son of Stanley and Tillie (Gandel) Teitelbaum. He grew up in Syracuse. He married Lori Dreyfus.

Mr. Teitelbaum lived in West Dover, in the 1980s where he raised his family and operated the Austrian Haus ski lodge. He retired from the Allen Residential Center in South Kortright, where he worked for the state in food service for many years.

Mr. Teitelbaum was a man of many hobbies, such as obtaining a pilot’s license, and being a ski instructor, and was a past vice president of the Oneonta RC Flyers Club. He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting, boating, and attending fishing tournaments. In his later years, he enjoyed gardening and raising pigs and lambs.

Mr. Teitelbaum is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lori; sons, Joel, David and Daniel Teitelbaum; and grandchildren, Allison and Carter Teitelbaum.

Services were held on Friday, June 28, at the MacArthur Funeral Home, Delhi.
