To the Editor,

We are excited to announce that Jacksonville resident and Hermitage Club employee Joe Kovalcik has passed his Emergency Medical Responder course and has joined Deerfield Valley Rescue.

As a full-time employee of the Hermitage Club, Joe will receive $1,000 from the Hermitage Club for each year he spends volunteering with a local emergency service.

The Hermitage Club Volunteer Incentive program, which was launched in April 2016, promotes and encourages its employees to give back by volunteering in local fire and rescue squads.

We welcome Joe as a new volunteer to our ranks and look forward to a bright future of service from him!
