DOVER- Dover Free Library and West River Habitat for Humanity are offering two free bluebird house building workshops in August for ages 7 to 12. The workshops on Saturday, August 5, at 10 am, and Tuesday, August 8, at 6 pm, are both part of “Build a Better World” summer reading program and will be held at the Dover Free Library, 22 Holland Road.

Children and their families may attend either or both workshops, and children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Parents are encouraged to participate. The components for the birdhouses are pre-cut to facilitate ease of building, however, bringing hand tools such as a battery operated screwdriver would be helpful.

Registration is required as materials and space are limited. To register call (802) 348-7488 or visit doverfreelibrary1913.org. All proceeds will benefit the West River Habitat for Humanity. For information on habitat for humanity call (802) 464-5156.
