MARLBORO- On September 28, from 10 am to 4 pm, the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum, the Hogback Preservation Commission, Richards Group, Mount Snow events, and John McKay are pleased to again offer a fun, free day for the whole family to get outside and celebrate Vermont’s wildlife, wild places, and outdoor heritage.

More than 25 groups representing every outdoor pursuit from hunting and fishing to turtle rescue and bird watching will be on hand. The day will feature kids activities, live animals, live music, and guided hikes. Don’t miss the VINS birds of prey, Conte Refuge Watershed on Wheels, music by Bill Shontz, professional facepainting, kids shooting range and the Museum’s own bald eagle making her program debut.

Visit www.vermontmuseum.org and www.facebook.com/vermontmuseum to keep up to date on new developments. This event is held at the Hogback Mountain Scenic Overlook on route 9. Call the museum for information, (802) 464-0048 or museum@sover.net.
