READSBORO- Mrs. Eleanor (Olds) Willey, 87, of 1450 King Hill Road, died Wednesday, August 7, at her home.

She was born in Newport, NH, on June 28, 1926, daughter of Marshall and Carol (Hooper) Olds. She attended schools in Lempster and graduated from Towle High School in Newport.

Mrs. Willey was last employed by Westinghouse Electric Co and also worked as a librarian for the town of Monroe.

Mrs. Willey was a member of the Readsboro Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and driving fast. She was an animal lover.

She was the widow of Edward A. Willey who died on May 27, 2006. They were married on October 17, 1959.

Mrs. Willey leaves several nieces and nephews and her friend Marcia Evans, with whom she made her home. She was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers: Carolyn Kennedy, Margaret Williams, and Malcolm and Robert Olds.

A memorial service for Eleanor Willey will be held at a later date. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
