WHITINGHAM- All boys and girls entering grades nine through 12 at Twin Valley Middle High School are invited to pre-season soccer practice on Thursday, August 17, at Twin Valley Middle High School, Route 100. The boys will practice from 8:30 to 10:30 am and the girls from 8 to 10 am. Boys and girls entering grades seven and eight will begin practice on August 31, immediately after school from 2:45 to 4:30 pm. All players should come prepared to play with shin guards, soccer cleats, shorts, a T-shirt, and plenty of water.

There will be a parent and coach meeting for all grades, seven through 12, at 6:30 pm, in the TVMHS auditorium on Wednesday, August 16. Players are welcome, but not required to attend with their parents. This will be an opportunity to meet the coaching staff, ask questions, and turn in all paperwork. Paperwork to be filled out includes a release form; substance abuse form; and well exam form. Every athlete must have had a complete well exam, or physical, within the past two years and must have insurance, either personal or school. All forms may be obtained at the meeting or prior to the meeting at the TVMHS guidance office. Questions should be directed to athletic director Buddy Hayford at (802) 464-1295.
