DOVER- Rusk Layne Anders died July 8. He is survived by his sons, Christopher Rusk Anders and Clay Benjamin Anders. He had one grandchild, Merriana Virginia Anders, who he cherished.

He is also survived by his mother Patsy and father James; his sister Dena and brother Steve; and many relatives and friends.

He was born and grew up in Houston, TX, served in the United States Air Force. He was an engineer and in retirement worked as an ambassador at Mount Snow. He loved playing his guitar, enjoyed jazz, Willie Nelson, and the Beatles, and is remembered most as a loving father and loyal friend.

Funeral services wiil be held at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Brattleboro, on Sunday, July 27, at 1 pm. In leiu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project.
