Wilmington has many second-home owners and visitors who provide a large portion of the town’s revenue.
People come here seeking the pleasure of a friendly, colonial atmosphere, away from crowded, high pressure environments.
To put an eyesore of a building in the middle ofWilmington’s Historic District is a bit like putting junk in a neighbor’s yard.
It’s sad that the town, apparently, has no defense against ugly architecture. This lowers the appeal of the town, which costs us all.
