The Twin Valley seventh- and eighth-grade girls’ basketball team, above, won the first Wildcat Invitational at Twin Valley Middle School on February 16. Teams competing were TV, Leland & Gray, Pioneer Valley, and Mohawk Regional. The girls completed a nine-point comeback with six minutes left with a 29-28 victory over L&G in the championship game. The TV seventh- and eighth-grade boys’ team, right, came in second after losing to Pioneer, but they had a thrilling victory over Mohawk in the semi-finals.
