WINDHAM COUNTY- The Garden Conservancy’s open days program will be held on Saturday, August 10, from 10 am to 4 pm. Explore two private gardens in Westminster and Wilmington, open to the public for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy. No reservations required; rain or shine. Highlights include Gordon Hayward’s 240-year-old farmhouse garden, comprising of 14 garden rooms, and paired perennial borders, and The North Forte’s waterfalls and koi ponds, boxwood knot garden, and classical sculpture.

Visitors may begin at either of the following locations: Gordon and Mary Hayward’s garden, 508 McKinnon Road, Westminster; or The North Forte, 71 Top of the Hill Road, Wilmington.

The cost will be $5 per garden; children 12 and under are free.
