To the Editor,

On behalf of the Blueberry Festival Team, I would like to send a big blue thank you to everyone who helped make the sixth annual Blueberry Jell-O Event a huge success. We could not have had such a fun time without the Jell-O, expertly prepared by Steve and Bev and the team at North Star Bowling Alley, in the buckets from Wahoos and Boyd Family Farm. We would not have had a place to stomp in the Jell-O without the giant new tarp generously donated from WW Building Supply.

The slip-and-slide was super fun, thanks to the re-purposed tarps from the Moving Wall. Water support was brought by the Wilmington Fire Department and firefighters Donnie Wilson and Jeremy White. Michael and Rachel and the team at The Sitzmark were the perfect hosts. And for all the other details, thanks to: the Cloughs, Suponskis, Muellers, Boyds, and of course Mother Nature, that shone through just in time. The Jell-O Opening Ceremony set the blue tone for a perfect 2013 Blueberry Festival.
